GEM Oscietra Caviar

Ossetra also known as Oscietra or Asetra Caviar comes from the Acipenser Gueldenstaedtii Sturgeon also known as the diamond sturgeon and is one of the most exclusive types of caviar.

 

This caviar is often chosen as the favourite in blind tastings and used by Michelin star chefs.  Originally native to the Caspian Sea lakes and rivers. Whilst Ossetra Caviar comes in varying colours, the lighter golden coloured eggs are the most sought after and are harvested from the eldest of sturgeon and offer rich and complex flavours that truly define the original Caspian Sea Caviar.

 

Storage: Caviar should be stored in the coldest part of your refrigerator, usually the bottom shelf. Ideal temperature requirement for cavier is between -2c and 2c.

Tempreture 2c+ can reduce the shelf life and taste.

Shelf Time: All our Caviar are freshly packed and sold with a minimum 3 months shelf life.  Once a tin has been opened, caviar should be consumed within 24 to 48 hours.
